SPIRITUAL SOCIAL ACTION COMES TO SUNRISE UNITY As part of the New Thought movement, Unity is always evaluating its role both in the greater spiritual community and as agent for positive change in our world. One of the ways that we are expressing our contemporary identity is through loving service.
Here at Sunrise Unity, we have created a Spiritual Social Action Ministry Team. Several folks have already answered the call to serve in this manner. As we become established, we will explore ways to be “love in action,” always striving to give a “hand up” rather than a “hand out.” To learn more about this exciting new ministry team, just send us an email.           IT ISN’T EASY BEING GREEN! Another Ministry Team that has recently been created is the “Green Team.” Beginning with the supplies that we use during Sunday hospitality and expanding into recycling and collecting E-waste, our energetic team members have begun greening up our operations. Our perspective is that each of us co-creates our own experiences by our thoughts and words in response to our feelings. However, it is not easy to grasp the full implications of this; so providing a community of others willing to share and work with these life-altering concepts makes our awakening process flow more smoothly.

As part of the inner-personal growth that naturally flows from these realizations we are committed to creating a place in consciousness, as well as in our world, that is free of prejudice, discrimination and inequality of any kind.
